WE ARE SO HAPPY TO BE BACK AND CLOSER TO FAMILY. NEW YORK CITY WAS A NICE PLACE TO EXPIERENCE BUT NOT A PLACE TO RAISE A FAMILY.

JACE TURNED 11 YEARS OLD IN JUNE. HE WILL BE IN 6TH GRADE THIS YEAR. HE IS 5'3 AND WEARS A 12 SHOE IN MENS.( SAME SIZE AS MATT). HE LOVES FOOTBALL AND BASEBALL. JACE IS A VERY GOOD KID. WE LOVE HIM VERY MUCH.

THIS YEAR WE SPENT EASTER IN LAS VEGAS WITH MY FAMILY. WE HAD A BBQ AND HAD A REALLY GOOD TIME. CADENCE WAS A LITTLE SICK WITH AN EAR INFECTION SO I HAD TO TAKE HER TO THE DR THE NIGHT BEFORE. THEY GAVE HER AN ANTIBIOTIC AND SHE IS DOING MUCH BETTER. WE HAD A WONDERFUL EASTER. I HOPE EVERYONE DID AS WELL.

Jace is playing FOOTBALL! Jace just started Football this past month. HE loves it. He plays on the varsity team, so the age range is from 10 to 12 years old. He is the only one on the team that hasn't played before, so he was a little bit intimadated. Jace got to choose between the Ravens and the Redskins and he chose..................
The Ravens! I was teasing him and said how can you do that to your mom, She was a Redskin and he says, "I know but this is dads sport and he didn't win the redskins team." LOL I said ok your right. Jace is doing really well for his first time playin. He plays Defensive End and Guard on Offense. Matt and I were in Vegas to spend a week with him and watch his practices. Jace was so happy that his dad was there to help him with football. He says he wants to be as good as his dad. I thought that was cute. He has such a cool uniform. Its black and purple and has a raven on the front, BELSHE is printed on the back of it and he thinks its cool. Jaces coaches are really inpressed on how well he is doing for his first time. They told Matt he has natural talent and that he is going to be really good. Matt was obvisiouly PROUD!

Cadence turned 7 months this month. She is a really smart little girl. she says Hey, Hi, Mommy,Daddy and waves hi and bye. She also knows how to play patty cake now. She is a fast learner and loves her toys. She dosen't have any teeth yet but we can see 4 bumps on the bottom. It looks like they will be breaking through soon. Overall she is a really good baby and loves everyone.

A lttle Late but O Well. This year we spent Xmas in Az with Matts family. It was nice to get out of the cold for awhile. Jace and cadence got way more than they needed, but it's Christmas we can spoil them a little Bit! Cadence also turned 6 months on Jan 14th. Stats are:
Weight-18lbs ( we love our little chunk)
Height -29"
Head -65% ( a big head for a big brain, lets hope shes smart like her dad and brother.)

Well Its been along time since I have been on this site! I have been so busy that I forgot about my blog. Let me tell you what has been going on in the BELSHE house. Matt is working in the hospital doing his rotation in Internal Medicine. It is a 12 week rotation and it will be over 0ct 9th, after that rotation he will be in ob/gyn for 8 weeks. He loves it and can't wait until he graduates!. Jace is going to school in Las Vegas. He didn't like New York so he asked if he can go live in las vegas with my parents for the school year. It was hard to let him go, but he was unhappy here. I talk to him on the phone every day and will get to see him on Thanksgiving. He will come for X-mas and his spring break. Hopefully next year Matt and I will be moving back to AZ. Cadence is growing so Fast! I can't believe she is already 2 months. We love her to Death! She had Her 2 months SHOTS today and she didn't like it one bit. She is 13 lbs 4oz and is 23 1/4 inches long. She is a Chubbs!!!

I'm very sorry I have neglected my Blog for a few weeks. As you read in my last post my lap top got a virus. Well any ways I am back to the blogging world and ready to show how much my little girl has grown. She is three weeks old now and is doing very well. She wakes up every 3-4 hours to eat and eats 3-4 oz. I haven't been able to dress her yet because she is too small for the new born clothes and to tall for the preemie clothes. The Preemie clothes fits in width just not in length so I haven't been able to take any pics of her all dressed up. :(
As for the rest of the family we are all doing good. I am getting use to waking up at night. Matt is getting use to sleeping right through the whines and cries of Cadence. He is in his 3rd year of Medical School and he is doing a rotation in internal medicine so he is on call alot, so I don't blame him sleeping through the night feedings. He does good when i have to wake him up to make the bottle or change the diaper, so I have no complaints for my tired husband. Jace on the other hand has been a HUGE help. He makes it so much easier. I have no regrets having them so far apart. Jace, Cadence and I will be going to Las Vegas for 2 1/2 weeks to visit Family this monh. We are also going to go to AZ to see my in laws. I haven't been out of New York for a year and I am defiantly READY!!!!

My Lap top got a virus after I downloaded all the pictures of cadence. i am using matt's lap top that he takes to the hospital every day so I haven't been able to put up more pictures of my little girl. I will be getting my lap top fixed soon. sorry mom and dad i will do it this weekend so we can skype.

Hi Everyone we are proud to show off our beautiful little girl Cadence. Let me tell you how the day started off. It was July 13th and It was Matts BIG day For His Medical Board Exam. His boards were going to take 9 hrs. It started at 9am and ended at 6pm. I woke up that morning with Contractions at 430 in the morning. I was timing them and they were coming every 20 min. I layed in bed for 2 more hours knowing that Matt was getting up soon to get ready. I didn't say anything to him because he already had alot on his mind. He got ready and left to take his test. All day long I was having contractions that were getting closer, but I was determined to hold out for Matt. My parents are here and they kept telling me to just lay down and relax so i wouldn't dilate fast. I layed on the couch all day until Matt returned. As soon as Matt walked in the door I asked him about his test and then told him we needed to go to the Hospital because i am going to have the baby. We arrived at the hospital and they checked to see how far I was dilated. I was dilated to a 4 and they took me too the delivery room and started the process. Cadence Renee Belshe was born at 142am as was 7lbs 1oz and was 19 inches long. I had an excellent delivery. The hardest part was that Jace was unable to see his sister until we brought her home. They didn't allow kids under 14 in the nusery because the swine flu. It was hard for him because he wanted to see her so bad. He was asking My parents to sneak him in. I felt so bad. He was pretty good after Matt explained to him why he couldn't see his sister. The picture I posted was the first time he held her and saw her. I keep on telling Matt he's lucky he finished it all in one day. He is very tired in these pics.

Well I went to the Dr. today and he said that my little girls head is all the way down and my cervix is very soft!!! He told me that I will be having her any day now. So the next posting will be of our little GIRL!!! WISH ME LUCK!!!!

Today my AWSOME little boy turned 10 years old!!! I can't believe how fast time has gone by. He is a really good boy, he loves sports, camping, fishing and being with family. He got lots of things for his birthday, but the big gift was a plane ticket to go see his grandpa and grandma in Las Vegas. My parents are going to take there three grandsons Camping and fishing. He was so excited to get out of NYC because it just won't stop raining. Its rained the whole month of June. I just wanted to post some pictures of my little boy! we love you Jace and hope you have a good time. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

SO, I FINALLY FOUND MY CAMERA! JUST IN TIME BEFORE THE BABY COMES. WELL I AM 36 WEEKS ALONG AND FEELING REALLY HUGE. I NEVER GOT THIS BIG WITH JACE, BUT I HAD HIM REALLY EARLY. I CAN'T IMAGINE HAVING A BABY AGAIN ITS GOING TO BE SUCH A HUGE CHANGE IN OUR LIVES. WE ARE GETTING EXCITED AND NERVOUS THOUGH. I FEEL REALLY GOOD, BUT JUST TIRED AT TIMES. MATT AND JACE HAVE BEEN REALLY GOOD TO ME WITH HELPING OUT ALOT AROUND THE HOUSE AND COOKING DINNER. THEY SEE THAT I AM REALLY TIRED AFTER WORK SO THEY MASSAGE MY FEET OR BACK. I LOVE IT! WELL I HOPE EVERYONE HAS GOOD FATHERS DAY.

Sorry about no pics. I will put one up as soon as i find my camera. Heres a little update of how everything is going. I am 33 weeks pregnant and made it past the time i delivered Jace. Its been 10 years since we had a baby so we are both nervous. Matt is still studing for his board exams and Jace is still in school until the end of June. Matt will be taking his test july 13th. I can't wait till its over. As for me I am still working. I hate it! When i get home i am so tired of being on my feet all day. I wake up about 300 every moring with my ankles aching terribly. There is no swelling but just the throbbing. I have to take a tylenol almost every night but my dr said that that isn't a good thing to do. Do any of you have any suggestions??? Oh and all you mothers out there that didn't have to work while you were pregnant. I ENVY YOU!!! LOL.

Yesterday Matt suprised Jace with tickets to the Yankee's game. Jace is a HUGE Yankee fan! They were able to get tickets in between third base and home plate, in the second section from the field. They had amazing seats. Jace was excited because it was A-Rods first game back at home and he was sitting close where he can see him. They had a really good time and I was happy that they spent time together before Matt gets really busy in his rotations at the hospital.

IT IS SO FRUSTRATING WATCHING THEM PLAY. I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER BE LIKE THAT BUT I GUESS ITS MY COMPETITIVE SIDE. I HAVE TO HOLD BACK MY TOUNGE ALOT!!! Walk on the BEACH!

Today We went to Coney Island and walked on the Beach. It was kind of chilly but we took our dog Hurley so she can get out of the house. We walked for about three miles and the sun started to go down and it got even colder. We decided to go home. I can't wait until SPRING.

Today my Parents sent us some money for a stroller. We don't really know what we are having so we picked something neutral. We noticed that the stroller here in NYC are very small and compacted. I guess it would have to be considering the amount of space there is on the subway or sidewalks. When we were back on the west coast the stroller seemed big and bulky. Well Mom and dad this is the one we picked OUT. Thank you so much, We LOVE YOU! I'm sure your grandchild will be happy!

TRIP TO WASHINGTON DC

Last weekend My sister came to visit! We had a lot of fun. We thought it would be a good opportunity to take her to Washington DC. It was so neat to see the Capital, White House, Washington Monument, and Abraham Lincoln's Memorial. Matt had a great time because he loves History, he spent hours in Thomas Jeffersons Library in the Library of Congress. We Walked for hours going from one sight to another. We also went into Virginia to see Arlington national cemetary. We got to see the switching of the guards and JFK grave sight. I couldn't believe how many grave sights were there. We had a really great time and it was a very moving to see the orignal copy of The Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the US Constitution.

This weekend Jace had his pine woody derby race for cub scouts. he did really well. He took 7th out of 38 racers. He got a trophy with his name on it and earned a patch.

Here are some pictures of the baby! I have friends in ultra sound so i get a scan probably every other week. I am so paranoid about making sure all limbs are there and making sure the heart rate is good. Its probably because I work in the Health Field and have seen so many cases of abnormal growth. I should really calm down!! Well I just got passed the first trimester. The morning sickness has let up some, but hasn't totally gone away. Matt and Jace have been really good to me, helping me around the house, cooking and cleaning. I really apperciate it! Here's Your Grandchild Mom and Dad.

Well, on my last post I said we were not going to be doing anything for a couple of months, do to the fact these are the most coldest months. Well I was wrong! Matt decided to suprise us and take us to Niagra Falls. It was an AMAZING trip. We stayed In the Marriott in a suite with a AWSOME view of the Falls. I took one picture from our window in our room that I posted so all of you guys can see our view. It was VERY,VERY, Cold there. In one of the pictures I posted you can see how thick the ice is on the trees, the mist that is coming up from the falls were so cold that when it came down they were little ice chips. We stayed on the candian side and had so much fun. On the way back Matt wanted to stop and see one of his churches sacred sights, so we stopped off in Palmyra and he got down and took a tour of some of the sights. He took Pictures of them. NEXT POST

This weekend we were able to go to Niagara Falls and stopped in Palmyra, New York on the way, The picture of the hill is the Hill Cumorah where Joseph Smith recieved the the plates from Moroni. 3 miles away from the Hill Cumorah is the Smith farm. It is a 100 acre farm with two houses on it. The first house is the house that Alvin Smith built for the Smith family before he died and the log cabin is the original family house first built on the farm. Upstairs in the cabin is where Moroni appeared to Joseph Smith. It is also where the translation of the plates began. The picture of the grove of trees is the sacred grove where Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith. I was the only visitor to the farm that day and so it was a very spiritual experience for me. Hopefully in the Summer we will go back and see it when it is warmer and spend a little more time there.

We haven't really done much sight seeing in the past couple of months do to the freezing weather here, but as soon as it warms up i will post more pics of NYC. i just wanted to post some pictures of our English Bulldog. She has been so good since we moved here. I thought it was going to be tough since she didn'thave a yard to run and play in, but she has been great. Hope Everyone has a Good year.

I haven't really posted any thing about this but Matt and I are expecting a little one this summer. After 9 1/2 years we get to start all over changing diapers and having sleepless nights. Sometimes I wonder if I will remember how to do it all again since my parents were such a big help the first time. Jace is very excited and he will be a big Help with the baby. He thinks that being 10 years older than his brother or sister is cool. I don't know why but he does. This pregnancy is alot different than the first one. I never had morning sickness with Jace. Well anyways i hope everyone had a Happy New Year.

PRESENTS, CANDY, AND FUN
This Christmas we had a Wonderful time. Jace started the day by waking us up at 5 AM to open presents. It was hard for me to get up because of the Morning sickness, but i knew he was so excited so I got out of bed. It took me forever to get Matt out of Bed, but he eventually got up and we went to the Family room to open Presents. It was the first Christmas we spent without any of our Family around. It was lonely but we got through it. Jace asked santa for a slim PSP this year, and since he was a good boy and a sport about moving across the nation without any crying, Santa brought the PSP. He also got a Lap Top from My mom's Boss. He loved It! Who wouldn't right? Nine years old with a lap top I wouldn't have even dreamed of a lap top at that age.(Well i don't think they were even around Yet). It is Nice because he plays all his games, look things up for school and surf the net without asking us for help. We always had to run back and forth to the computer room. Thank you Mrs. Rocha!!. Jace also got Tech Decks from his Grandma and Grandpa Romero He loved Them. Thanx Grandparents. After were Got done opening presents we spent time as a Family and went to a movie. I was so exhausted as soon as I got home i laid on the couch and fell asleep. Matt took this horrible picture of me while i slept. The baby Bump is starting to show! Ughh. Well I hope You all Had a good Christmas And a Happy new year.

Well we had a great Thanksgiving. My parents flew up here and spent the whole week with us. It was so nice to see family. Well I didn't take any pictures of Thanksgiving. I did take pictures of the statue of liberty again. I know that I will be visiting her many times because when we get visitors that is the first thing they want to see. I took pictures of my parents in front of Miss Liberty and at Ground Zero. It was great having them here! Love you mom and Dad very much. Thankyou for coming.

Who remembers the movie BIG!

For all those who remember the movie BIG this is the piano that he (Tom Hanks) jumped and played on. It is located in one of the biggest toy stores in the world called FAO Swartz. We also got a chance to go to the New York Public library. It was the biggest and prettiest library I have ever seen in my life. They also had a hallway that was dedicated to the history of the New York Yankees. It was really cool, I was able to take some pictures of the hallway whitch features Mickey Mantle and his teamates. The day flew by so fast for us before we knew it, it was night. I took one last picture of Time Square before we got on the subway.

We took a carriage ride through central park. It was really neat because during the ride they would show you where movie scenes were filmed and what film they will be shooting next.

This weekend they had a Fall Festival in Central Park. It was so crowded, there was tons of different things to do like pumpkin carving, face painting, pumpkin bowling, and pumpkin painting. We only stayed about 2 hours because we wanted to do other things. Matt, Jace and I walked around and looked at all the changes fall has brought to Central Park. The trees are absolutley gorgeous! SINCE JACE ENJOYED ICE SKATING SO MUCH WE DECIDED TO GOT TO AN ICE RINK IN BROOKLYN. MATT HAD NEVER ICE SKATED BEFORE SO I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN TO GO AND TEACH HIM. HE HAD A HARD TIME THE FIRST TWO TIMES AROUND, BUT OF COURSE HE IS A NATURAL ATHLETE AND PICKED IT UP THE FIRST 20 MINS. HE DID FALL ONCE BUT HE WOULDN'T LET ME TAKE THAT PICTURE SO I HAVE NO EVIDENCE. LOL

We went skating at the rink at rockafellar center. It was so much fun! Jace had a hard time at first but by the end of it all he got the hang of it. I was impressed because when hes not good at something he rather just give up and leave but not this time he wanted to practice until he got it. He had so much fun going around and around the skating rink.

On Monday Jace didn't have school and I had off from work. We waited till Matt got out of school than took the subway to Manhattan. We went to Rockafellar center and went to the top to take pictures. It was beautiful from the top. We got to see the whole city. I took pictures of Central Park but the trees didn't change colors as much as I thought they would at this time of year. Well here are some pictures from the top. For people that haven't been to New York, the tall pointed building in these pictures is the Empire State Building.I also took a picture of one of the Cathedral they have here in the City. It is so Amazing to see the structures of all the buildings they have in this Big Apple. It was a Foggy day sorry the pics aren'y very clear

This week we haven't done much of anything. Matt and I both have been very busy with school and work. Matt has a Mid term coming up and is very stressed out! He gets himself worked up for every test, but he always gets an A. It drives me insane. As for me Work has been crazy. Its so stressful because i do Mri, Cat scan , and x-rays all by myself. So basically i run the whole department because they don't have any other technologist. By the end of the day I want to run out of there. Oh Yea did i mention that it takes me almost 2 hrs to get home. The Traffic is so bad here! I use to complain about Las Vegas and Phoenix Traffic but now i know truly know what bad Traffic is. New York people all drive crazy. They Honk for everything!!! They actually have sign that say NO HONKING $300 FINE. Its crazy. Well hopefully this weekend I will have stuff to post.

Apartments in New York are different from what i am use to. They are buildings built from the 1900's to 1960's. They look old on the outside but are renovated beautiful on the inside. These pictures are just a few that are in our neighborhood.

Today our morning started off with lots of rain, so we decided to go shopping and stay indoors. After the rain stopped they had a huge street fair. They closed off 3rd Avenue and had all types of different tables and booth. You can find things like handbags, sunglasses, clothes, toys, food, rides ect...... it was alot of fun. Jace is standing by one of the many different types of restraunts they have here in ny. The food is amazing here.

Shea Stadium is located in Queens,This is a picture of Manhattan from the top of the stadium. It was really beautiful to watch the sunset as the game started. It is getting cold here so we needed a warm sweater. The weather is quite different from AZ at this time of year.

We went to our very first Mets Game last night! It was alot of fun. Jace is being a dork and has a towel wrapped around his head. It was Towel Rally time last night and the first 25,000 in the stadium were given these towels. Of course we had to go early!

This is a picture of the Mets and Cubs playing. Unfortunately the Mets lost, but it was fun anyways.

They are building a new stadium so Shea Stadium will no longer be the Mets Stadium anymore. The New stadium will be called Citi Field, this will open in 2009.

Sorry my blog is all over the place. I just haven't figured this whole thing out. Usually I don't have time to sit down and do things like this, but this time i have a schedule that allows me to have time to myself and be able to get things done before Matt and Jace get home. Well, we had one last camping trip before we left. In these pictures my brother Ryan, Nephews Anthony 10 and Jalen 9, and my son Jace are all hanging out at Black River.
The boys are trying to figure out a way back to the side of the river. The water started to run down faster when they crossed over so nobody wanted to go. Ryan was calling them sissies and so Jace got mad and tried but couldn't get enough courage to walk. So eventually i had to walk over and carry them across. Ryan and Matt won't let that drop, they tease them when ever they can.

While the boys were hanging out my brother and i went and fished. It was fun but my brother always insisted to bait the hook for me. AHH what a thoughtful brother.

We visited the Museum of National History. This is where they filmed the movie with Ben Stiller "Night at the Museum". It was the biggest museum I have ever seen in my life. We spent about 4 hours there and we still didn't get to see all of it. Jace absolutely loved it. We will evetually go back and see the rest of it as soon as we get the time. There is so much to see here in New York, it is very exciting but so far from home.

Since we've been in New York we have done a little bit of sight seeing. We had a chance to go see the statue of liberty. It was so Awsome! We were able to get off the ferry and walk up as high as her feet. They are eventually going to start letting people go to her crown, but they have had it closed since 9-11.

Before we moved to New York we stopped in Las Vegas to see my parents. W stayed there a week and visited all my family and friends. One of the days we were there Jace helped his grandpa plant a tree. He was so excited because my dad told him that, that was his tree and he would take care of it for him while he was gone to New York. Jace says he can't wait to see his tree everytime he speaks to his grandpa. I thought that it was cute because he is so proud of it.

Matt and Jace love shoes! They are worse than females! I swear Matt has a pair of shoes for every day of the week. He has to have gym shoes, running shoes, skater shoes, work shoes etc...... I can go on forever. Obviously he doesn't miss a day at the gym so we get more use out of all his gym shoes.

My son is my inspiration everyday. He is getting so big. I can't believe how fast time flies, he is already 9 years old. He loves playing sports, fishing and riding roller coasters. We are so lucky to have him as our son.
